In the recent federal budget, the Australian Government announced changes to the sale of ALL properties in Australia with a value of over $750,000. Don’t get caught out. All owners (individuals) of these properties need to obtain a clearance certificate from the ATO (Australian Taxation Office) prior to selling the home.
